This is one of the best Photoshop tutorial that I ever have, it's the PhotoShop Top Secret DVD 1, this is the first from a 5 DVD collection containing a guide to learn PHOTOSHOP in detail that discuss about the advance features of Photoshop which will help beginners to produce images like a pro. This tutorial is not applicable for lower versions of PhotoShop and of course your computer must be upgraded to at least run a CS6 environment. The higher your computer's specifications, the faster it goes for better rendering performance. I am currently using an Intel i3 Core 3.3GHz processor with 8 Gigabyte of memory (RAM). Although this is not as powerful as what real graphics designers have but I guess it's already enough for me as long as my Adobe CS6 software runs smoothly as I expected.

So what's the use of learning Photoshop anyway?
I heard about PhotoShop long ago but I never attempt to search about or even think about it. This is because I've been a PaintShop Pro by Jasc Software user since 2002 and I loved it because it doesn't require a high performance computer back then. I believe Jasc Software was bought by Corel later. But as time goes by Adobe level up their products, they bought Macromedia and developed the program making the software powerful and user friendly. Thus PhotoShop became more popular in the Design Industry.
Now that we invested to put up a Design Business (Maxmedia Enterprise), I myself devoted a lot of time to learn Adobe Creative Suite Softwares from its CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5 and nod CS6 extended version. I saw these versions changed rapidly with improved features although the basic PhotoShop controls are the same and even improved its navigation.
Nowadays, Adobe Photoshop and its latest version CS6 is so popular helping a lot of Graphic Designers to produce stunning work of art from Photography to Desktop Publishing Companies, Advertising Firms and the Movie Industry. The versatility of its features and the reliability of the program made it in demand in the Creative Industry that increases its popularity because of its great features and ease of use. Its user interface provides tools that will aid an artist during editing process, it has filters that helps to enhance photos and automating features such as scripts to save time on repetitive editing tasks.
We at Maxmedia Enterprise used Adobe Creative Suite in designing a lot of banners that we produce on a Large Format Printer (Tarpaulin). We have a High Definition Printer that could print Photo Quality output as fine as 3.5 pl suitable for weddings, birthdays and other special occasions. Our Desktop Publishing team used PhotoShop in designing Business Cards, Flyers, Corporate Brochures, Wedding and Birthday invitation cards and so many to mention. That would be about 80% of our Jobs were produced using PhotoShop most specially in manipulating photos and artistic graphic effects.
As of this writing, I could definitely say that Adobe PhotoShop is one of the best photo editing software ever created turning ordinary pictures or graphics into Masterpiece and transforming simple people into an artist like Michael Angelo.
I will be collecting the whole set of DVDs and in the future may have showcased some of my output using the skills I learned from PhotoShop TopSecret Video Tutorial.
