A marketing company posted a Job in oDesk looking for an SEO expert to subcontract their SEO work including both onpage and offpage. And it made me curious about it because I just wonder what they wanted to be done for this kind of task considering that they are willing to pay a Fixed Price Budget of $100.00. But as far as my research idea is concerned, I learned that SEO is indeed a moving target. Nobody knows it perfectly aside from Google. That is why many SEO companies working hard how to track the ins and outs of optimizing a page. Nobody can promise a targeted result otherwise its just a matter of estimating and not even guaranteed. So why there are still people who do SEO jobs and clients who hires SEO experts?

For a little background, many people may not know what SEO is all about. For the benefit of those who doesn't know yet then here it is. Based on Wikipedia, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's "natural" or un-paid ("organic") search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search, news search and industry-specific vertical search engines.

As you can see on this Job post, they were asking about panda/penguin rules and that I didn't know about as of this moment. Although it always caught my attention more often while searching the web but still I haven't find some time to discover it myself. For now I'll stick for this SEO issue.

Although these techniques do not allow promising specific result most of the time but search result positions will progressively improve and the amounts of traffic will increase.
