Confessions of an iPhone newbie

I'd gladly admit to being an iPhone newbie: I was using aSamsung Galaxy S III (S3), and before that, its predecessor, the Galaxy S II (S2). I was inseparable from my BlackBerry Bold 9700 after I ended my love affair with the Windows Mobile-powered Sony Ericsson Xperia X1.
I've never wanted an iPhone because I love the feeling of a physical keypad/keyboard. When my BlackBerry died last year, I switched to Android because the iPhone stopped being cool once my aunts each got one.
Having said that, I caved and bought an iPhone 5 last Friday because I was curious: Would it be as life-changing as the people around me have raved?
